Hello guys I would like to add on the list of the many Hondas around the world mine
I am a proud owner of a Civic EG9 ferio running a B20\Vtec motor on ITBs.
As far as mechanical mods:
b20b bottom/b16 head with minor reinforcements(on the block-stock head)
Jenvey ITBs
Hytec replica headers
Skunk2 exhaust.

As far electronics:
P30 ecu
Demon2 dauterboard
Running on Neptune
Tuned by Me
Honda Rulez COP conversion
Stock IAT
Stock CLT
Stock MAP
P&G contactless TPS sensor
K-Series Coils

Here is a video with the car running so far: https://youtu.be/JKGFCNufdzk

I know this is a Speeduino forum and that's the reason I'm here.....
I'm going to convert my lovely car to Speedy.....
So far the stuff that I own are:
Speeduino 0.4.3c board
DCwerx SS-OBD1 board (aka evo_lucian)(in order to make my life easier and because until I'm done with Speedy I'm going to swap back and forth ECU's as I daily drive the car)

So far what I have figured out by my self....

Arduino Pins---------------------------------->Honda wiring loom pins
1 Injector 1 1/2------------------------------->A1 injector 1
2 Injector 2 1/2------------------------------->A5 injector 3
3 Injector 3 1/2------------------------------->A2 injector 4
4 Injector 3 2/2-------------------------------> ---
5 Injector 4 1/2------------------------------->A3 injector 2
6 Injector 4 2/2------------------------------->----
7 Ignition 1------------------------------------>A21 ICM signal or Coil No1
8 Ignition4------------------------------------->
9 GND------------------------------------------->D21 sensor GND
10 GND------------------------------------------>D22 sensor GND
11 MAP (0-5V)----------------------------------> D17 MAP signal
12 GND------------------------------------------>
13 5V---------------------------------------------> D19 Vref
14 Proto area 1 (proto43?)------------------>
15 Proto area 2 (proto47? Fan?)-----------> A12 Fan Control
16 Proto area 3 (proto45? Fuel p/p ?)----> A7-A8 Fuel p/p
17 Proto area 4 (proto49? Tacho?)-------->
18 Proto area 5 (proto51? Clutch sw?)--->
19 Coolant Temp Sens----------------------->D13 CLT
20 Inlet Air Temp Sens----------------------->D15 IAT
21 O2 Sensor Input--------------------------->D14 O2
22 TPS Sensor Input------------------------->D11 TPS
23 GND------------------------------------------>
24 CAM Input/VR2+ -------------------------->B11 TDC+
25 CRNK Input/VR1+ ------------------------>B15 CRK+
26 VR2- ----------------------------------------->B12 TDC-
27 VR1- ----------------------------------------->B16 CRK-
28 5V-------------------------------------------->D20 Vref
29 Idle stepper 2B--------------------------->
30 Idle stepper 2A--------------------------->
31 Idle stepper 1A--------------------------->
32 Idle stepper 1B--------------------------->
33 Ignition 3---------------------------------->
34 Ignition 2---------------------------------->
35 Boost--------------------------------------->
36 Idle 2(for use with 3 wire Idle v/vs)->
37 PWM Idle----------------------------------> A9 IACV
38 VVT-----------------------------------------> A4 VTEC V/v (propably need relay to work)
39 Injector 2 2/2---------------------------->
40 Injector 1 2/2---------------------------->

12V-------------------------------------------->A25 power from Main Relay
GND------------------------------------------->A26 Light Ground

Question 1: Do I need to wire the ignition coils the same way as the injectors? (Firing order? (My case 1-4-3-2))
Q2: Were do I ground the shield from the VR sensors? Is it ok if I wire it to the main ground?
Q3: Do I need to add any hardware for Fan control,Fuel Pump, PWM idle cotrol?

Thanks in advance guys and my bad if you have to answer noob questions again!!!

I'm on my mobile so I can't confirm the pinout at this time.

1- firing order for the Honda is 1-3-4-2. wire Speeduino coil output 1 to coil #1, 2 to coil #3, 3 to coil #4, 4 to coil #2, injectors should be the same if you are doing sequential injection

2- wire shield to speeduino pin 9,10,12 or 23

3- you will need to add the uln2803 chip to the proto area in order to use the fuel pump and fan output.

Your Honda looks badass. Good luck with the build

Thanks evo_lucian for the quick reply and the info!

From what I searched online for the uln2803 it has 18 pins with pin 9 to be GND and pin 10 V+
all single digit pins are inputs and double digit pins outputs

My question now is about the orientation of the uln2803 is it correct?

Image

and were do I wire the inputs,GND,V+
also V+ must be 5V or 12V?

Speedyefi has a great article covering the uln install with lots of pics.

Thanks again evo_lucian
as soon as I get my hands on a uln i will update further!

Another question regarding the Jumpers on the Speeduino.
I have set the jumpers as following
JP1: 5V
JP2: VR
JP3: VR
JP4: OFF
JP5: OFF
VR Conditioner JP: On

Do I need to set JP4,JP5 on? For now I'm going to use the factory crank/cam sensors on maybe later convert to hall!

ULN info, pin reassignment, tach driving, etc: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1023&p=16588#p16588

SpeedyEFI originally posted a copy of that one with the same image, but I appreciate they have changed some wording and inserted their own pics. :)

Just went through the entire topic thanks David!
That solved lots of questions and I actually have a headache now! I will post more as soon as the uln2803 arrive!

leave JP4 and jp5 empty. Jp1 would depend on what your igniter requires but 5v is very common among most coils

With reference to your pinout from post #1; leave speeduino pin 11 (map) unpopulated since you using the onboard map

Pin 21 (o2) connect to wideband output

As for trigger wires I assume you will wanna go sequential injection. Pin 24 and 26 (vr2) should be connected to b16 and b15. You only use TDC if you want to use basic distributor and then it goes to vr1
