I am wondering if this coil pack would be a good choice as the basis of my Speeduino Project. The part is available on eBay and a very reasonable price but would Speeduino drive it. Has anybody had any experience with this unit - Wasted Spark Ignition Coil Pack for Audi Seat Skoda VW Polo Golf A3 032905106B.... +1, that is a popular coil pack with built-n modular coil driver, commonly referred-to as the Bosch "106B". Do a search on the forums for info, especially regarding the suggested reduction of the Speeduino IGN output resistor value, as they seem to need more current to fire reliably. As mentioned, it has an external igniter (coil driver), but as it is contained in the pack as a unit it is treated as a "smart" coil with 12V power, GND and two Speeduino IGN signals.
