Few updates.

I moved all the files to github for easier updating: https://github.com/pazi88/Speeduino-M5x ... /m52%20PnP

I also put few pcb's for sale at eBay for folks that want one, but don't want to get bunch of those made: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Speeduino-comp ... 3748841443

I'm also working on rev1.3 pcb, that includes the diode for bluetooth and also co-operates with at least e36 AC system and has the idle up function working, when AC compressor is running.

and whats about cam?

everyone knows siemens sensors not working long time and if we can use stock bosch sensors it will be great :D

Hi,
M52 CAS is an Hall Effect Sensor, only the CAM angle sensor is Frequency induction type, for that you could use an hall sensor like from m50 or m54

The OEM CAS sensors are actually quite reliable, if you don't let the thermostat housing drip coolant on the sensor. And there is no really bolt-on solution to replace the m52 CAS. But cherry hall sensor can be used with adapter, like this:

if we can use M50NV and M50TU sensors it will be good

Those are VR-sensors that require the VR-condiner that I didn't add as option to the pcb. So they don't work without difficult modifications. I didn't see any point adding the possibility for VR-conditioner, because hall sensors work great. The m50 vr-sensors are not cheaper than m52 hall sensor and the vr-conditioner is tricky to solder and adds just more unnecessary cost. And if for some strange reason the m52 original CAS is no go, the cherry sensor is cheaper and ultra reliable option. Yes it needs bit of tinkering to fit, but so do the m50 vr sensors, because they don't fit the harness directly.

ZF (Cherry) GS100502 gear-tooth sensor is The replacement for original M52 sensor. It gives rock solid signal.

I´ve tested this with M52 original ecu

And in S50-engine Megasquirted:

Ps. I´ve used GS100502 6 yrs now with many engines and configuration and I trust it like my balls. It´s not even ecu related but this sensor solves sometimes mysterious problems that seems to be more like witchcraft.
