For any add-on boards such as VR conditioners, optos and OEM interface boards

Hi
My first post on this forum.

My engine (Yamaha R1 2003) has VR sensor at the crankshaft and Hall sensor on the cam. When scoping the signals going in and out to the VR board (DIYFI) the VR sensor works fine creating a fine 0-5V square wave even dispite the VR input only has +/- 1V peaks when speed is lowest (compression).

When I scope the cam signal going into the mega the square wave doesnt go to zero volt. Instead I have a square wave between +2.5V and 5V. Jumper 3 is set at Hall and Jumper 5 is fitted. It seems as the VR cond board is sending out 2.5 V at pin 7 on IC3 even if the VR conditioner is not used for the cam sensor.

Is something wrong whith my VR-conditioner? When I remove the VR-conditioner from my board and scope tach2 going into the Mega I get a clean 0-5V square.

I know I can cut pin 7 at IC3 from my board and the issue would be gone but I would like to know if there is something wrong with my VR cond board.
