Hi All sorry if this seems like a stupid question but i have been struggling to get make sense of it, from the options in Tuner Studio where does the Tach output end up and V3 board with what option.

There is no hardware by default on that board to do rpm.

Look at the wiki and schematic as you will need a uln added to proto area
